Smithville Tornado Fundraiser

As it is, I live sixty miles from Smithville, MS now even though my home town is Amory. I traveled down there today and visited a friend who resides right inside the city limits. She was very fortunate there wasn't so much as a shingle missing off of the roof of her house even though she lived a half a block from the school that was destroyed. Another friend of mine lived on the other side of the Hwy. 25. She wasn't as lucky. She lost everything.

A tornado is devastating anywhere it touches down regardless if is in a town as small as Smithville, (Population 900) or a city as large as Tuscaloosa, AL where the death toll at this moment is 238.  As much as I would love to go down there everyday and help with the recovery efforts as well as donation drives, I am unable to do so. I have prayed hard for the last few days about what it is I could do for the small town that borders my own hometown. Finally I came to a conclusion, I can post as much as I possibly can online to help spread the word and use the only thing I have at my disposal. My book CLIPPED. So, I have decided that I will give 100% of my royalties from any copies of CLIPPED that are sold from now until May 15, 2011. The book itself is available at most book stores. If they do not have it in stock, call and have them order it. They ALL carry it. I have included some links for online sales here.  I hope you all enjoy the book as well as helping out the wonderful people of a great little town.
